The Big Sister Association of Greater Boston sued Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay for trademark infringement which allegedly occurred when Big Brothers Big Sisters changed its name from Big Brothers of Massachusetts Bay. Full story here.
Tiffany sues eBay for contributory TM infringement

According to Tiffany, only 5% of its goods sold on eBay are genuine. Tiffany sued eBay trying to hold the on-line auction company responsible for the sale of counterfeit products on eBay bearing the Tiffany name. A Tiffany verdict would place a tremendous burden on retailers and auction houses, and presumably would affect the way business is transacted on the web. Full story is here.
